Fondation Jan Michalski
Switzerland
The Jan Michalski Foundation for Writing and Literature was founded in 2004 in Montricher at the foot of the Jura Mountains in Switzerland. Vera Michalski-Hoffmann opened the foundation in her husband’s memory to perpetuate their common commitment to actors who devote themselves to the written word.
The mission of the Jan Michalski Foundation is to foster literary creation and encourage the practice of reading through a range of initiatives and activities. These include holding exhibitions and cultural events related to writing and literature, making a large multilingual library available to the public, awarding an annual prize in world literature, granting financial support, and hosting a writer-in-residence program.

It focuses on modern and contemporary British artists and how they visualise their relationship to particular locales, and how these relationships extend to consider wider ideas about how we interact with certain places, and notions of belonging. The aim of this work is to explore how...

I thoroughly enjoyed your discussion. Congratulations, dear Hisham Matar, on making the longlist for 'My Friends' in the Booker Prize. I would be thrilled to see 'My Friends' advance to the shortlist and ultimately be recognized as the best. It’s a wonderfully engaging novel. Best wishes!
I'm so grateful for this interview! Lots of amazing insights💓
Merdoum 🎉
congratulations, from the way things is lining up I can tell the work took ualalapi off unless u a rapper like me sitting on the greatest rap album ever composed. must be why reading isnt going 2 stop when it's released definitely on the public trans into the city 2 clear my firearm prohibition; they way they treat it. a black voiced marquez was valuable 4 me thank u
Il me gonfle cet énergumène. L intro était superfétatoire. Le voir incarner Zweig me chagrine bien.
Livre passionnant.
cant believe I am only hearing about Constance now.
So pointing out that the auto-subtitles are mostly mumbo-jumbo gets the comment removed? Not a good look on a literary video.
I really love that man , the tone of his excellent voice & the act of his playing in Lolita,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This interview gave me insight into Minor Detail and gave me a genuine respect and admiration for the writer, Adania Shibli.
Vraiment hyper sympa Un chien à ma table.
dunno, love her short stories, maybe more than her novels.
I loved reading this novel. The story will stay with me forever.
She is brilliant. Treating language as an intelligent friend helping you interpret each other's intention.

Jeremy has a fascinating voice
Words mean nothing
🙏🙏🙏 Grand merci !
Merci pour cet entretien passionnant !
Sylvain Tesson.Le penseur qui occupe mes soirées. Merci pour votre partage.
It was a great interview. Maaza Mengiste speaks very eloquently like a graceful tree rooted in calm waters. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear her voice, and what her experience was while creating her historical novel, "The Shadow King".
Merci pour le partage !!
dommage que cette vidéo manque de son...
Quelle belle lecture
Admirable Denis Lavant!...
